Hi Judy,

I see some connections to my Kasten relations in your posting but there isn't an exact match. Here's what I have:

My great grandfather Bernhard Kasten emmigrated to Milwaukee from Germany around the same time frame (1880) as your Claus. Bernhard was born in 1859. He had 5 children including a William and Alma. The 1887 date for William and 1895 for Alma seem to match their dates of birth. The other 3 children were Emma, Rudolph and Helen. Do you think your Claus could actually be Bernhard? Bernhard's wife was Wilemena Augusta Wilke if that helps. If you need any additional information, let me know.
