Randolph County has probate records for Ferdinand Casten (1952), William Casten(1937), & Minnie Castens (1959). John W. Castens served in WWl for Randolph County. St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Wine Hill has listed Adolph & Gail Casten, Anna W. & Henry Casten and son Edward E. Paradise Cemetery in Bremen Twn. has listed George W. & Laverna Castens and Rudolph W. Castens. From 1949-1952, L. Castens was pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill. The church was established in 1850. Henry Castens owned 40 acres land around Wine Hill in 1890. Casten(s) are also buried in Chester, Kaskaskia & Sparta. Does any of this information help?
