Johann Christian Kästner

I'm looking for any information on a Johann Christian Kästner, born about 1790, and his father by the same name, b. ? From Sotterhausen, Germany. Johann Christian Kästner, b. 1790, was a corporal or sergeant in the Royal Prussian Army, with a position as something to do with horses. Both sons, Franz W. and Friedrich A., came to the U.S. (as Kestner) and settled in Illinois, possibly with their widowed mother, but Johann Christian died and is buried in Germany. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
