My great-grandfather was Herman Kastner (married to Amelia), who came to the Akron, Ohio area about 1872. There was also a John Kastner who came to the Akron, Ohio area about the same time. I do not know yet if they were related, but I believe I have some information (somewhere from a census) on John's family, as I thought they might be my family at one time. I have quite a bit of information on Herman's family.
