The name Dick Kathan is shown on the Texas birth index (1903-1997), b. 20 May 1952. His mother, Robert H's first wife, was Lois Lorraine Gossard. Lois' father was named Dick Gossard, which I assumed was the reason for the given name Dick. Robert H and Lois divorced Mar 1976 in CA. The divorce record recorded that they were m. 1950. Robt H. m. Kathleen E Flynn in Reno 17 Dec 1976. He later m. Cordia Belle Shirk 19 Jun 2001 (per his obit). I've found no record of death or divorce for his second marriage, but I haven't really researched it. It's much more difficult to find recent records than it is those from a century ago.
