His first wife, Lois, and he stayed friends until his death. She followed him a year and a day later, passing at her home.
I visited with Grandpa K (as I used to call him) and Kathy in Sparks NV every summer. She has since passed away too.
His 3rd wife Cordia, stayed with him until his death in 2002.
As far as I know, she still lives at their home in Greenfield. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenfield, MO. He ret'd a LCDR US Navy and served in Vietnam.
