Some additional info about Albert KATHAN: He died of small pox in Chicago, Il, Feb 2-28-1864. In Dec. 1863 he was 18, 5'9" tall, Dark Complexion, hazel eyes and brown hair. His mother filed for his pension, Oct 1, 1864, from Il. (Harriet Gill Kathan). A little more about Nelson-in 1862, 26 yr, 5'10", lt complexion, blue eyes, brown hair. He was blinded in the war. He died Dec 16, 1925. I will be very busy until the end of Aug so no genealogy. Patty
