Rufus was the son of Daniel Kathan and Ruth Barrett. He married Abigail Stone and had children: Daniel, Edson, David, James, Lydia, Sophia (married to Elisha Coombs). I have no information about this line and would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone knowing this lineage.
