Hi Shirley.
Florence was my great grandmother on my mother's side. She did have five children: Kenneth, Richard, Shirley, Lester and Mary Ellen. Mary Ellen was the one who was killed in the car accident. My mother used to have the newspaper clipping.

Florence's maiden name was Walker, but I haven't had any success in researching her line. Her first husband, William, was born December 4th, 1896. He is buried in St. Louis at Old and New Picker's Cemetary which changed its name to Gateway Gardens. I've been able to trace William's line to his gr gr grandparents. Not many dates, but I do have names. William's maternal grandmother (Helen Josephine Corenlius), I've been able to trace back to Scotland in 1506.

Let me know if I might be able to help you or what information you are wanting. My mom has spoke of Florence and Leo fondly. He was a true gentelman.

Good luck with your search.

Amy
