Have been doing much on the internet on
genealogy but I am please to see your entry.
My research has com to a halt. My g g grand-
father was Daniel Kaun and came to the U.S.
about 1882. He came from Treptow, Germany. My
research stopped because I was unable to
proceed further. The city of Treptow is now a
part of Poland and the name of the city was
changed. He moved to Milwaukee, WI.
I am willing to get some of my research out
if what I have written so far is of interest.
I have a nephew named Jacob Arthur Clarence
Kaun. Jake is arround 21 and a student at UW-
Milwaukee studying Architure. Son of James &
Mary Kaun - the live in Brookfield WI.
