Denise Hauck;

Your husband must be Edwin's son. Aunt Rosemarie was my grandfather, Albert John Minning's sister. Do you know anyone in the family researching the Minnings? I can't locate the port they came through and if their name was Minning or changed when they arrived according to my Aunt, Mom's Alberta.

Maria "Mary" Kaus born 18 Apr 1849 immigrated in 1857 according to the 1900 US Census. She married John Minning, born Jan 1849 in Ohio, about the 1870's and her first child was born in 1870. John died 2 May 1891 when he was run over by a streetcar, leaving her with 9 children to raise, ages 21, 19, 17, 15, 12, 10, 8, 5 and Aunt Rosie born 27 Sep 1891, after her father's death.

Great grandmother, Mary, lived between Aunt Rosie and my grandfather, Albert John's house, after the death of her husband.

My subscription ends the 29th of this month, so I hope to hear from you before that.

Look forward to hearing from you.
