Hi Bob,
Thanks for your reply. I currently have very little information on my g-grandmother Anastatia, besides what I have posted so far. She had 14 children, and I have baptism records for 12 of them, but only one Kavanagh shows up as a sponsor, someone named Mary Kavanagh. I've ordered records for St. Columbkille Church in Chicago to see if any Kavanaghs were witnesses to her marriage. Then I plan to start looking through Kilkenny church records , since I have three g-grandparents who were born there. I will add your family names to my list and let you know if I find any connections. I recently received an email from another person with Kavanagh-Kilkenny ties, so we'll see if anything develops from these names, too.
