James Kavanagh, Melbourne

Does anyone have any information on a Dr James Kavanagh who was a Professor of Science at Melbourne University.

I THINK he would have immigrated to Australia prior to 1858. I'm guessing he would have been born around 1800, most probably in Co. Wicklow.

He had a brother Daniel (born c.1807) whose eldest known sons were twins, Michael and James - could the father of Daniel and James be Michael?. Daniel and his family settled in the Hunter region of NSW.
