Mr Kavanagh,

your ancestor's details bear a remarkable similarity to a relative of my family.

The Michael Kavanagh that I seek information about was a mariner. Allegedly on a ship called St.Mungo.
He married in England.
Apparently he died in Liverpool. He came from Arklow. His date of birth is unknown to me but 1895 would fit in perfectly with what I know of him.
I am told that he was buried at Garston Cemetery Allerton. Although I have not had the opportunity to visit there to verify this.
He may have had a brother, Thomas.

I would be fascinated to see if we are talking about the same man.

Don't be alarmed by my e-mail address. I am a serving police officer and I am using my work address.

My phone is 07799 348 181 (England)

Michael Meaney
