Greetings from Down Under,
I'm trying to track down information for my cousin, Jessie.
Her ancestor Joseph Jacobs was born on 24th Aug 1849 in Boston, America and on purchasing his birth certificate, she found his parent's were Lawrence (not sure how it's spelt in his native tongue) Jacobs from Denmark, who married Margaret Kavanagh from Ireland.
Joseph jumped ship in Australia, around the age of 17 and changed names to Henry Hudson and eventually married and raised a family in Queensland under the Hudson name.
We'd appreciate any information or help offered.
