My Grandma was a Mary Kavanagh otherwise known as molly and she has a younger sister winefried but Molly was born on the 20/03/1913 and winefried on 14/1/1917 (is still alive) They were from Moston/Manchester but their father was Richard Kavanagh and he work on the trams not the railways. and was married to Hannah Malone(possibly hannah was not her given name). I am sure this is of very little help to you but they had many cousins and by all accounts they are all called Molly/winefried or Teresa so it is possible that they link in there somewhere but i have not got very far myself. They also had 3 older brother and sisters and there was possibly a child who died as well.
There was Bill, Christine and Richard who also died but in the 1930s. If I get any more information about them or their cousins I'll let you know. Winefried was also unmarried till she was in her forties.

Good Luck
