My grandmother was Anastasia Palmer (nee Milne)born Liverpool 1883 and her sister was named Isabella Kavanagh Milne when she married Chales Edward Parkinson in 1907 in Liverpool. Their mother was Anastasia Milne (nee Roche) wife of George Milne. The Roche family came from Co Wexford where Kavanagh was a well known name there also. I am intrigued why Isabella should have given the name Kavanagh on her marriage cert. Is there anyone researching Kavanaghs with this connection please? The name Kavanagh was not on Isabella's birth details in 1885 - simply Eliza Isabella Milne. Thought she may have married a Kavanagh before her marriage to CE Parkinson but she was a spinster aged 21.
