My husband has a g.g.grandmother named Mary McNamara who came to NZ and married 1870. On their marriage cert. it just says full age. However on her death cert. However there is a photo of her and her husband with the birth date 1.5.1848 Roscrea Kings County. It appears Roscrea is actually North Tipperary and possibly Roscrea is on/near the boarder of Tipperary/Kings County According to other members of the family who appear to knowledge of her she states her parents as Catherine Kavanagh and Thomas McNamara. She is said to had a sister Catherine born in 1845 who would obviouly be a Kavanagh. Other than that I have nothing! I do wish that my husband had less relatives in Ireland!
