Hi
I have not had time to check and see if he is buried in Mussel Fork Cemetery. It is not far from Corinth Cemetery where my relations are buried and ours is spelled Cavanah. You might check with the Kavanaugh's from Madison Co., Ky. Charles Kavanaugh Senior was the eldest son of Philemon Kavanaugh formerly of Culpeper Co., Penn. and was listed with his wife and family as Heirs . Charles and his sons are listed in their county records.
I hope this gives you a place to start. If it is we are related. It is a long way back to 1500s when Charles Cavena and Philemon Kavanaugh brothers settled in So. Carolina.
Good Luck
Jerry Cavanah
