Sue, I have a Charles Covington Coleman Kavanaugh,b.1786 who was the son of Charles Kavanaugh,Jr. and his wife Frances (Powell) Kavanaugh. He was in Cooper Co. Mo.Dec 15, 1830 when he married Tabitha C. McLean and was in Madison Co. Ky at age 66, Sept 2, 1852. He had a brother,James Kavanaugh who was in the war of 1812 in Lousiana. James was on his way home to Missouri when he took sick and died in Mississippi, and was buried in Pontotoc Co. Miss. There was another Charles Kavanaugh who some people have confused my Charles Kavanaugh with but I have little or no information on him. If this helps let me know and I'll search my records further. Bettye
