Errors in Philemon Kavanaugh Genealogh

Phillemon Kavanaugh,Sr. was the father of Charles Kavanaugh,Sr.not Charles younger brother Philemon,Jr.. In Philemon Kavanaugh,Sr.'s will he makes it clear that Philemon Jr. is under 18 years of age the year he wrote his will April 19, 1743. Charles Kavanaugh is old enough to help be an Executor of his will along with his wife Sarah Kavanaugh and his son-in-law, Thomas Covington. Charles was born about 1721 and died(will probated 4 Oct 1796-Madison Co. Ky.) His father had patented land for him at an early age, because you did not have to be 21 years of age to patent land. In 1729 Philemon Kavanaugh had to have this property appraised because Charles was too young to do it for himself. Then when Charles got married some one gave him the wrong wife. Charles Kavanaugh married Ann Covington,in Virginia prior to 1747. Ann was the Daughter of William Covington and his wife Ann (Coleman) Covington. Ann is listed as William Covington's daughter in his will as Ann Kavanaugh. The sir name Covington was used as a middle name in the Kavanaugh family for several generations and this is why, because they descend from both the Covington and the Colemans. I weould be happy to hear from anyone about this.
