I am descended for Morgan Kavanagh's (b. 1760 Wexford)-> "Jack" b. 1785 wexford enniscorthy-templeshanbo(although real name was probable Patrick...it is the same guy as your "John") -> Edward James (b. 1832 enniscorthy templeshanbo). Morgan, brother of Edward James, ended up in Vinton Quebec along with most of the family. He married Maria Kelley in Ireland and they both came over. You will find two morgan kavanaghs in the 1881 canadian census near vinton quebec. one is the one you are looking for and one is his first cousin, also named morgan. I am trying to find out more about the morgan kavanagh who was born in 1760 but cannot travel to ireland to look up parish records in the national library...if they exist, many of the parishes were burned. If you find out anything let me know!
