Looking for information about my g-uncle Joe KAVA (Jozef Stanislaw KAWA) and his wife, Katherine Victoria WANDRA. Joe worked as a farm hand near Silver Creek, Nebraska and he and Katherine were married in October, 1922 in Central City, NE. Her parents were Frank and Anna DROZD WANDRA. Joe died of heatstroke only a few months later in July, 1923 and is buried at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Krakow, NE.
I'm wondering if there were any children born of this union and whether Katherine may have remarried after Joe's death. Joe's KAWA relatives in Omaha, NE apparently did not keep in contact with Katherine after Joe's death. Also, I'm hoping someone may have a wedding picture or other picture of Joe and Katherine together or individually. Thanks for any help or information!
