Hi, Steve --

According to the International Genealogical Index (IGI) at http://familysearch.org , there was a Benjamin Kaye christened 25 September 1815 at the Almondbury Parish Church in Yorkshire; he was the son of William KAYE and Rebecca ROBINSON.

The christening information was taken from the parish register, Batch #C017126, which covers the years 1813-1835. You can rent this film at your local LDS church's Family History Center ... costs about $3.50 per roll, and you can keep the rolls for about 3 weeks at a time. There is often more information about the family in the actual register than in the IGI; it's well worth the time and money to rent the film.

There are 2 other children shown in the IGI who were christened at the Almondbury church, sons of William and Rebecca Kaye ...

Joseph, also christened on 25 September 1815; he may have been Benjamin's twin, or simply a child born earlier and baptized at the same time.

And David, christened 11 May 1818.

Hope this helps!

Suzan in AR
