I have Ann KAYE b 27/5/1825 bp @ Kirkburton 24/7/1825, a daughter of George and Hannah KAYE. She's not on the 1841 census for Emley - in which I appear to have her parents aged 45 and 40 respectively (making them born somewhere between 1792 - 1801) with other children John 24, William 21, Sarah 15, Jane 13, Geo(rge)9 and Ellen 2. If this is her family - where is she? Working away? She married Adam Butcher of Shelley sometime around 1844, their first daughter Adaline bc 1845. Anyone related to my Ann who can help sort out these Kaye lines - It doesn't help that Emley, Shelley and Kirkburton seem to be interchangeable as birthplaces!
