Joseph Kaye of Elland Hall, Halifax , Nova Scotia

I have followed Joseph Kaye c 1820 8th child of Benjamin Kaye and Grace Calverley in Elland, Yorkshire to Halifax Nova Scotia where he was in business as an agent for a London Ontario Oil Company, lived at Elland Hall in the suburb of Richmond which was called the Kaye Division. He is shown in the 1891 Census as a 71 year old widower living with his 14 year old daughter Grace Isabel Kaye with his son Louis Robert Kaye (44)and nearby Frank Crossley Kaye (27). Louis's family are shown as Lottie H, who I believe married a Johnson, Edith H, Gertie M, Louis J, and Rupert M. Frank's family are Annie R and Nita. This area of Halifax was devastated by the Mont Blanc explosion of 1917. Does anyone know of his descendants? Joseph's younger brother Benjamin c 1823 in Elland followed him to Nova Scotia and lived at Acacia Grove (Prescott House)at Starr Point. I am in contact with some descendents of Benjamin but would like to find more.
