Hi Allen

Have just come across your message.Doubt that I can help you but you may be able to help me.

I am a descendant of Joseph Kaye of Mirfield about whom we know very little except that he was probably born in 1806 in the Huddersfield area. He migrated to Australia in 1832 as a young man and ended up in what is now Canberra. He could also write. He was Anglican in Australia but who knows what earlier.

I would be interested in anything that you could let me have about him or his descendants as there is some chance he is our man! If so it would be a real breakthrough for our branch of the family.

Ted Kaye
