Hello Richard,I have a William Black Kaye b 1871 Edinburgh, his father was William Kaye b.1842 Knockbain,Scotland married to Jane Black in 1869. William Kaye's brother was my great grandfather John Kaye. Their father was James Kaye b. 1814 Temple, Midlothian married to Agnes Gray 1838. His father was William Kaye b about 1785 Temple, Midlothian married to Mary Montgomery 1806 and that is about as far as I can go. My great grandfather John moved to England and married Emma Brown had 3 children, James, Frederick and Louisa. James moved to Boston USA and my grandfather Frederick moved to Winnipeg,Canada, he married Elizabeth Chisholm and had 4 boys, John, Thomas, Frederick, and James. My father was Thomas .
