Peter Kay of Woburn died 1622

Can anyone suggest where this Peter Kay may have come from ?

He married Beatrice Barnes at Woburn, Bedfordshire on June 25 in 1582. They had ten children between 1583 and 1601. His elder son John died in 1618, and his younger son Robert died in 1629. His wife Beatrice died in 1642. All were buried at Woburn. Wills exist for Peter Kay, written in 1619, and Beatrice Kay, written in 1641.

Can anyone confirm that this Peter Kay was one of the sons of John Kaye of Woodsome, who married Dorothy Mauleverer? His elder brother Robert would have inherited, so presumably Peter had to make his own way in life. I believe that Peter was born before the parish register of Almondbury began. Edward Kaye, baptised on 11 May 1558 is the first of John Kaye's children to appear in Taylor's transcription of the Almondbury register.

Any suggestions would be welcome !
