Hi David,
Saw your message on Kaye Family. I was looking for Kaye's at Huddersfield/Lepton area.
Jane Kaye married 1851 Edwin Tatterson at Kirkheaton, and eventually migrated to Australia. (My ancestor)
I was in UK 1986 and travelled the area, had lunch in Kayes Arms Pub and wandered around the old property at Denby Grange, where they had a farm and quite a large homestead.
Can you link Jane to your line of Kaye research?
I can give further info on their family if required.
Regards Bill Waddingham Sydney Aust
