Ancestory of Frederick S. Kaylor (Sr.) b. 1775 in MD

My family history shows that Frederick was born in 1775 and resided in Maryland. His spouse is unknown to me but he fathered eleven children. They were Elizabeth, Mary, Judith, Susan, Nancy, Samuel, John, Martin, Daniel, Conrad, and Frederick S. Kaylor (Jr.). The latter was my great-great grandfather who was born Aug. 14, 1799 in Hagerstown, MD and died April 10, 1881 in Lucas, OH. I have accurate records of most of his decendants.

The origin is not very clear but the story goes that three brothers came to this country in the middle of the 17th century from the Alsace/Loraine region. It is believed that they settled in the different colonies of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. I would certainly like to find out about Frederick Sr. and his ancestors, if anyone has more information.
