I don't know if there's a connection to Lt. Kaylor, but two of my ancestors Jerome Dawson and Nathan Randall married two Kaylor sisters about 1868. Jerome lived around Gallitzin and Nathan lived near Ashville, Ashville is about 10 miles from Patton. I have Conrad, Keller, Sherry and Sprout relatives also living in the Patton-Loretto area of Cambria County. Nathan Randall and his wife moved to Butler county, in western Pennsylvania. Nathan died about 1912 His wifes name was Rebecca Kaylor Randall. They had 8 children I believe.
