Don; Are you from Cambria County? I have Sankers, Kaylors and Conrads, Adams, Sprouts, McConnels and Randalls in my extended family, between 1810 and 1880. The Conrads moved to Cambria when the Catholic priest Prince Gallitzin was transferred from Conewago Chapel in Adams County to Loretto, Cambria County. I have an old map showing a Sankertown near Gallitzin and Loretto.
