My great-grandmother was named Sarah Jennie Kaylor - The only marriage that I am aware of for her is to a man named P. R. Barger (I do not know what the initials stand for). It might not have been her first marriage. I also do not know how many natural children they had, but the did adopt my grandmother from the Wyandotte Tribe around 1890. I do not know if it was a legal adoption because native american children were routinely taken from their families to be assimilated into white culture at that time. P. R. Barger aparently died because I have an old photograph of my grandmother with her step-father Frank Calvert. Evelyn eventually married a man named John Wilkes. They had three children, Virginia, Phyllis and Carol (a son, my father). John Wilkes had two brothers that I know of, George and Emmanuel. I know next to nothing about Sarah Kaylor.
