Katie, I was going through old postings and came across your message. Were you ever able to connect a husband to Hannah Kaylor? I have been stopped for several years at Hannah Kaylor, listed in the 1850 census and included in the 1840 census with her son Daniel, but not named in the 1840 census. Was her last name Longcrier? Were you able to find a will or other documents to find which of the Kaylors from Lincoln County was her husband? I am descended from Peter Charles Kaylor and from the Kaylor's that moved to Sebastian County Arkansas. I have been going through the census the last couple weeks on the Kaylor/Caylor and have been concentrating on the ones that stayed in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Have just been going down the line and am about to get to David now. I started with Peter Charles as he was the oldest child I had to Hanna Kaylor, but I'm starting to think there may have been older children that remained in North Carolina. The children I have are from Peter Charles Kaylor down. If you would like to compare and exchange information, let me know.
