Hello, I tried to google her name, but couldn't find it. If you knew her married name that would be helpful or where she could have lived. Zabasearch.com is a great locator; however, you must know the name and the state.
This was written by his grandson, Randi Barror, so perhaps this is Shirley's son. You may wish to reply to his message, although he hasn't posted messages since 2002. His email address is hidden.

Hi, I've just received a box of papers from my grandmother who paased awa last May. As it turns out my grandfather, Lyle David KAYTON, had changed his name in 1943/44, He was actually Lyle D. PLAMONDON and had been married to a woman named FLORENCE. Go figure. No one ever told me about this and I do genealogy. But I would like to hear from anyone knowing of him anytime. He was a marksman in the army for 9 yrs. before his health became bad. He was born in Cheynne,WY. Enlisted in San Fransisco CA in 1933.
Thank you for taking time to read this and happy hunting.
