Lance, this may help:Perry Kazebeer, b. near Steubenville, Ohio, May 19, 1832.At age 7 his parents moved to Van Buren Co., Iowa.In 1857 he moved to Kansas and settled on a farm in western Jackson County.Perry was a miller by trade.In 1862 he opened a st ore handling general merchandise at Bucks Grove, Kansas. In January 12884
he moved his stock and family to Havenville, Pottawatomie Co.,Kansas. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, joining at age 12.He married on June 30, 1854 Martha J. Cochrane atOttuma, Iowa. She died July 17, 1881.
Perry remarried at Havenville to Mrs. Abbie. A. Denin, a widow, on 6 February 1882.Perry had three children, and I assume with his first wife.At the time of the publication of William G. Cutler's History of the State of Kansas, from
which I got this information the two daughters were married and his son David A. Kazebeer was 14.
Oh, on Wednesday, July 15, 1885, in Pottawatomie Co. Kansas,
