Although you are not related, we are.
I am great-grandson of Jonn N and Mary S. Kealy. We have visited that cemetery, and will return in a coupla weeks to visit again, although it's a thousand miles from here.
We seek more Kealy information, and will devote more research time in Denton County courthouse.
No Kealys live there, although my grandpa, who was born there, was one of a dozen kids. There is a Kealy Street there, but we have difficulty finding much else of them.
We've traveled nearly 30,000 miles in family research. The Kealy family came from Ireland to New York where the John N (Nicholas) Kealy who was buried in the Smith cemetery, was born. From there they traveled to Michigan, eventually to Denton County, Texas, where they helped settle Lewisville.
Still we press on, hoping for more. This will be our third trip to Texas.
Paul (and Lorene) Kealy
