Frederick Kearsley, b. 1880 Bolton
Posted by: Barb Kearsley Date: October 22, 2000 at 19:21:30

I am trying to track my in-laws. Frederick Kearsley married to Polly moved to Canada abt. 1906. Enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces and was killed in 1916 in WW1 in France. Had one son in England, John Frederick, then had two sons and two daughters in Canada. William Saxon, Dolly, Vincent Bentley and Blanche.
I am not well versed on England but I understand there is a village called Kearsley near Bolton and wondered if this village is named after any of our family.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
