I am also looking for a Thomas Kearsley born circa 1840, an Engineer who married Ann Marsden in 1859 in Coppull, Chorley, Lancashire. The only childrenI know about are John b1859, Grace 1863, Margaret 1867 and Thomas 1869. My father told me that we had an ancester who worked for Brunner and Mond - later ICI but I have never been able to link this information with any of the ancesters I have found. I have tried the Wigan Register Office and the national office in Southport but they are unable to supply a birth certificate. How did you find the company your ancester worked for?
