Hi Carol

I have a marriage certificate for Thomas Kearsley and Ann Marsden for 18th September 1859 in Coppull Parish Church.
All the children's birth certifcates give Ann Marsden as their mother and I have Ann's birth certificate for 6th October 1840 in Standish. From the Marriage Certificate Thomas was born circa 1840 but I do not know where, and his father was John Kearsley who I think married Mary Reeve, although I do not have any evidence of this.

My father talked of Brunner Monde and the town Northwich.

Does your record of the 1881 Census give the place where Thomas was born?

Best wishes
Kathleen
