Hi Annette

The certificate I found whilst looking for my elusive Thomas and his son Thomas but this does not seem to link up with my direct line. Thomas (born circa 1840)I believe is shown on the 1881 census living in Crewe but I cannot establish his exact date or place of birth. Perhaps you could confirm this from your records. I have his marriage certificate for 18.09.1859 in Coppull to Ann Marsden. His children John, Grace, Margaret and Thomas were born in Wigan, whilst Ann, Mary, Martha Ellen and Sarah Reeves were born in Coppenhall in the Nantwich area.

If you look at the messages between Carol Tong and myself you will have a clearer picture.

Glad to have been of help.

Best Wishes

Kathleen Daley
