Hello Steve,
My name is Robert Alexander Keay and I was born in Perth, June 5, 1950. My father was John Grewer Keay and he was owner of the Highlevel Pub on Blackfriar Lane. He had one brother named David who emigrated to Australia and a sister Alice who married James Massie and lived in Dundee. We emigrated to Canada in November 1951 and live in Peterborogh, Ontario, about 1 hour east of Toronto. My grandfather was from the Montrose area (Craigo Hill?)and was named Alexander Thoms Keay. He was manager of a jute mill in the area. I am not aware of any relatives in the Perth area and know only of some cousins in Australia. I do have some old family photos showing a lot of my fathers aunts and my grandparents. My grandmother was Christina Young and it was because some of the Youngs being in Peterborough that caused my dad to emigrate.
I have a brother John, sister Christine and deceased sister Dawn. My mother Vera Keay is still alive and somewhat knowledgable about the direct family. Drop me a line with info if you are able to find any!
