This family is very strange... I have been trying to work it out.Records stated there have been three branches of Keays and I think this Betsy Cuthbert must be a sister or brother of my William Keay.
I believe we had a tradition naming Wms after Wms and Peters after Peters. (My grd was Peter. Wm was his elder brother) Cuthbert named after St.Cuthbert....
My William Keay was born on 30 Nov 1823 Dundee
(Auchtergaven) died 27 October 1894 Dundee.
He married Betsy Cuthbert d 9 June 1890 Dundee (71yrs)
even have an address 48 Crescent Lane, Dundee (not there now) occupat of Wm sack manufacturer (Also buried eastern cemetry dundee - see Dundee council) PS what is MI?
