Hi Lisa,
The Keay's in my family are several generations before yours but the names & area seems to feel familiar for some reason. My great, great grandmother was Catherine Keay born in Madderty, Perthshire in 1824. Her parents names were Robert Keay & Janet Clark. Catherine married Andrew Methven in 1843 in Dunning, Perthshire.
I know this is long before your grandfather William Clark Keay was born or his brother David. At this point please ask your grand uncle David as much as you can about his parents & if he remembers his grandparents. He is your first & best source right now. Eventually I hope we may connect & I'd be more than happy to list their many descendants. Good luck with the new baby. Daryl (McCowan)Dumanski from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
