My maiden name was Keay and I was born and grew up in Methven, Perthshire. There's quite a few Keays around Methven, Logiealmond, and Fowlis Wester and areas. They are all close together. As I traced back as far as I could the name Keay changed to Key, that was in Fowlis Wester in the 1700s. There was a Clan Keay that was in a battle on the North Inch in Perth way back when. I can dig up the info if you are interested. Clan Keay was part of the larger Davidson Clan.
