I also have keele family members.... The info I have says that this ancestor was parisian french and a colonel in the army at the time of the french revolution. He later was stationed in Ballinasloe ireland where his daughter Matilda was born, then returned to England, lived in the Manchester area. I believe he must've left France around the time of the revolution then enlisted in the British army but don't know for certain. I don't know much about Matilda in terms of siblings..... could this be the same family?
