Hi - My great aunt did a LOT of research up to Arthur & Sarah (we're on the son Richard's line) in order to gain membership in the DAR. I know they arrived in America in 1747, settled first in Delaware, then moved to Wythe County, VA. They were both listed as living in "London" pre-1747, but were more than likely NOT born there...I have seen mention of both "Shropshire" and "Middlesex" counties with respect to Arthur, but so far have found nothing. Census records aren't available much before 1850 so it's got to be done mostly via church records. Will certainly post if I come up with anything. Sorry couldn't be of more help.
