Thank you I did not have the parents names but I do have William M KEELE born 17 Jan 1781 in Henry, Wythe, Virginia-died 17 Feb 1861 in Beechgrove, Coffee, Tennessee. He married Jemima MORELAND IN 1799. Jemima MORELAND born 1780-1781 in Henry, Wythe, Virginia-died 1837 in Coffee County, Tennessee. They had 8 children: Payton Smith KEELE (on my husbands mothers side) born 1821; Elizabeth Katherine born 21 Nov 1800; Nancy born 1804; Frances Fanny born 1808; Mary S born 1815; Richard born 1818; Payton S born 1821 in Millersburg, Rutherford, Tennessee and Rhoda born 22 Sept 1824.
Payton Smith KEELE on 8 Feb 1839 in Rutherford County, Tennessee he married Margaret Elizabeth MAYFIELD who was born about 1821 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. She died 19 Nov 1891 in Summerville, Texas, Missouri.He died After 1880 in Summerville, Texas, Missouri. They had 5 children- George Franklin 14 Oct 1850 in Joplin, Jasper, Missouri;Mary Elizabeth born 8 Dec 1847 in Bolivar, Polk, Missouri; Catherine born aprox 1849in Missouri; Sarah Ann born 24 Aug 1852 in Pope, Missouri and Valace Marion he was born 30 Jul 1858 in Polk, Polk, Missouri hope this helps I have more going forward. Do you have further back from Richard?
