Sandy, I just now got to Benjamin & Sallie so dont have much info other then that they are listed on 1850 Roane County Census I believe assuming the Sallie was Sarah. On 1840 census there was a William Keeland 00001-10001 so that means 1 man over age 50 and 1 female child under 5 and 1 female over 50.
There is a website that has alot of info regarding Keylon's but I believe its no all correct. But it good guide. Is's www.public.usit.net/rkeylon/.........
We decend from Thomas Keelin/Keylon from Roane Co that married Harriett L Renfo May 04,1869. That website has Thomas married to another woman and Harriett married to Wright (Thomas's brother), he has Wright dieing in 1863 ...the problem is Harriett was born Aug 1849. She would have only been 14 upon Wrights death. I do know that Harriett L. Renfo married Thomas Keelin in a double wedding with her best friend Harriett Keelin that married Coleman Fitzgerald on May 04-1869. And on 1900 Hunt Co, TX census Harriett was married 30 yrs as of Apr 1900 - so I know I have right people and waiting on the copy of marriage certificate that was confirmed to exist. And I have a friend that in TN that has gotten quite abit of info and continues to get more every day on the Keylons.

Ann
